Tianxing Du studied cell biology and protein chemistry. Before he started his Master thesis he worked at the Max-Plank-Institute in Leipzig and at the Helmholtz Centrum Munich. After finishing his Master's study at the Technical University of Munich with thesis work in developing personalized diagnostic tools for tumor therapy at the BOSCH research campus in Stuttgart, he joined the iMAGO research unit for his PhD.
