Project 2

With a newly designed MSOT scanner that reaches deeper we will measure tissue bioenergetics and lipid profiles in-vivo, characterize metabotypes, and identify novel imaging-based biomarkers. Our aim is to gain new understanding of metabolic diseases which allows for the application of novel diagnostic and theranostic approaches. In addition, we will provide our project partners with a suitable toolbox to obtain the most meaningful MSOT derived metabolic information.
